The Oxo Tower is an amazing London landmark. Originally built as a power station for the Post Office the tower was rebuilt by the Liebig Extract of Meat Company (makers of OXO cubes) in the 1920s to include three illuminated windows which spell out O X O. This was an ingenious ploy by architect Albert Moore to get round a ban on illuminated advertising.
